CCS offers students a unique adventure. Each year students in Year 3-13 participate in an “Education Outside the Classroom” Camp experience, similar to a Week Without Walls.
The CCS Camp programme aims to develop each of our Core Values. Students engage in a wide range of activities, challenging themselves, taking risks, and engaging in local service-learning projects.
Camps also focus on developing a deep respect and appreciation for Balinese and Indonesian culture and environmental issues. Our Camps also focus on balance, helping students develop self-awareness, reflection, and resiliance academically, socially, and emotionally. Camps typically take place in Term 1 in order to build community among students.
Our Camp programme is strategically designed to build on prior experiences and provide an increasing level of challenge and understanding.
Students in Year 3 are introduced to Camps with a 1-night sleepover at school, while our IBDP students complete longer and more intensive activities that contribute to their overall learning and the IB Creativity, Activity, and Service programme. All CCS camps used established external providers an complete a rigorous process of safety checks and risk analysis.
