In Spanish class, we got the opportunity to have a zoom meeting with the students from IES Clara Campoamor de Móstoles, which is a school in Madrid, Spain.

To prepare for the meeting we created a video presentation in Spanish about our school's facilities, activities, and campus. We worked in groups and practised giving the presentation in Spanish. This is the video we created:  CCS presentation in Spanish.

We also created a list of questions that we could have been asked or questions that we might have about their school. The online meeting lasted around an hour, when the Spanish students were able to ask us questions about how it is to live and go to school in Bali and what activities you can do here. The boys even asked each other about which football teams they supported! It was also funny to see my classmates' reaction to the students and to the school´s presentations.

The students in Spain were really good at speaking English, I was quite surprised. My classmates and I did our best to ask and answer all the questions in Spanish, but if anyone needed help the teachers were there to support us. Overall I found this experience amazing and fun but I found it interesting to see how noisy their class was compared to our classes, and also to see how their conditions are with covid and how their school was organizing classes, some students were online and others were in class just like at CCS. The students were all very kind and some even reached out after the meet. I hope future CCS Spanish students can also have such a unique experience.
