On Thursday morning, the Year 11 students shared examples of their coursework with the Year 9s and 10s. All of the Year 11 students brought two or three pieces of work from Music, Drama, Art, Design, and Technology or English to show to the younger students. They had all reflected on these pieces of work and considered what they had enjoyed about producing the work, as well as what challenges they had faced. Year 9 and 10 students walked around the room looking at the work and asking questions to find out more. They learned a lot from this and it was valuable to see what the completed coursework looks like, as well as find out things like how long each piece took to complete. The most common piece of advice that the Year 11 students gave: ‘Don’t leave your coursework until the last minute!’
Ms. Jill Robinson.
