Last weekend, 21 Year 10 students completed the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award Assessment expedition.
This was near to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces and involved more than 30km hiking through rice fields, jungle paths and rivers while carrying everything they needed for the whole weekend. They camped overnight and cooked for themselves in the evening.
The students showed excellent teamwork, particularly when crossing the rivers and when we finished the first days hike in the dark.
All of the students made really valuable contributions to their teams and I am looking forward to seeing their videos and presentations in May.
