A big well done to all students and parents who turned up for the Climate Change walk around the streets of Canggu on the morning of 22nd September, 2019. As we can see all around us – locally, nationally and internationally, mother nature is under extreme stress! Without change now, there will be no recovery phase. There is no Plan(et) B! Change starts with us – the little things that we can do around our homes, the choices we make and not being afraid to speak up and become a change-maker! If you’d like to make your voice heard and you’re passionate about this, write Mr B an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Year 6 Science – Experiments for the Science Fair.
By Annabelle Candra
Year 6 has been organising their science fair projects for a few weeks now and they all came up with exceptional ideas, for instance a mesmerising soap worm to confirm if baking soda will make a difference, or edible water bottles for our environment. They are all considerable and amazing ideas too, not only because they are fun, but we are also learning a lot as well.
These experiments are useful like, finding whether smoking or vaping is more harmful by determining which substance is better than the other.
All of these experiments have benefits so we encourage you to see our experiments for yourself. Year 6 will be sharing their experiments at our Science Fair in the two Year 6 classes on October 3rd 2019.
