Message from CCS Governing Body
Dear CCS Community,
The school year is kicking off to an energetic start – several great events have taken place since the start of term showcasing the excellent learning that happens at CCS, and many exciting projects are underway including the CIS Self Study and completion of the Vision and Mission Review. A big hats off to all the staff, and especially leadership team, for all the hard work into making this school year commence with a commendably smooth and positive start! Also a big thank you to the School Committee, our school community and our students for contributing to the successful start of the 2019/20 school year.
Supporting an effective school leadership is one of YSI’s main responsibilities and we are confident that the current leadership team can carry out their roles and excel in driving the school forward. Further, in prioritising the stability of the leadership at CCS, YSI will not be recruiting for a new Head of School position for this academic year and the 2020/21 academic year. YSI will continue to oversee the effectiveness of the leadership roles and structure through out this time, to ensure the leadership team is empowered to lead CCS.
On the building front, construction of the new primary campus is progressing quickly, supported with valuable input contributed from many stakeholders including parents, Juara Alam (CCS Sustainability Committee) and teachers. Thank you for your contributions and inputs in making this new home for our community.
We look forward to the exciting steps CCS will take in this year to come,
Yayasan Swamitra Internasional (YSI)

Year 2 Devdan Show
Relating to our Unit of Inquiry about how people are creative and talented in their own way, we decided to take a trip to watch the Devdan show in Nusa Dua. Many Year 2 families joined us last Friday for a backstage tour, which included meeting the performers and going on stage, as well as getting a sneak preview of the costumes and props. This was then followed by the amazing evening performance. Lots of fun was had by all, and the very talented performers have certainly inspired many of our young learners!
